Visit the Larmer Tree website for exact directions
You can arrive any time from 11am and the gardens close at 4.30pm. There will be a list of names on the gate when you arrive to gain admission.
We have a large marquee for our exclusive use for shelter from sun/summer showers and to sit and picnic. There is a small cafe which serves very nice lunches, coffee and cream teas – it is advisable to book for lunch. You are welcome to bring your own picnic or you can pre-order a luxury hamper to enjoy in the gardens (prices start at £15.95). Please contact the Larmer Tree cafe yourselves to arrange this. They need two weeks notice for hamper orders. Their phone number is 01725 516971.
Guided tours of the fabulous gardens, led by the Head Gardener Andy Rampton will meet each tour group on the hard standing at the top of the lawn, between the temple and the entrance gate at 11.15 then at noon.
We will all meet to sing at 1pm in front of the Italian Singing Theatre and at 3pm at the Roman Temple. The rest of the time is your own to enjoy the gardens and picnic at your leisure.
Most of the garden, with the exception of the Dell, is accessible to disabled visitors using the gravel paths. The disabled toilet is located in the Coffee Grove Café garden and there is a wheel chair available to use.
Dogs are welcome on leads in the Café Garden, however due to the large amount of ornamental birds they are not permitted in the main garden. There are large trees for shady parking in the car park together with a tap and water bowl. Guide dogs are most welcome in all areas.
There is ample free parking.
